For Extending the Chimney
MORZH tents are usually purchased with stoves, whose chimney consists of 6 segments. This is enough for good draft and stove efficiency. However, if you want to extend the standard chimney, you can purchase additional segments.
Our wood-burning stoves are equipped with a spark arrester,but an additional chimney section further reduces the likelihood of sparks reaching the tent. Extending the chimney increases the stove's thermal efficiency and helps to remove smoke more effectively on the outside .
Suitable for stoves with a pipe diameter of 90 mm.
* If you also purchase a water tank, the total chimney length increases due to the tank’s height.
Replacing Damaged Segments
The chimney segment can also be used as a spare part. If one of the chimney segments is damaged during the stove operation, you can always be replace it with a new one.
The chimney is easy to assemble even without additional instructions, so it only takes a moment. Just install the segments one by one. The extra segment can be stored in a bag with the stove or inside the firebox.
*Make sure that all segments are tightly connected to each other!
Durable Material
Like the stove, the chimney segment is made of AISI 430 stainless steel. The segment has moderate corrosion resistance and does not deform at pipe temperatures of 500°C and above.
Proper Usage
To ensure the long life of the stove and its components, regularly clean the chimney of soot. The type of fuel also affects the chimney durability. Only use wood or charcoal as fuel. Do not use gas, flammable liquids, coal, cardboard, or paper.
Note that when the stove is first lit, the pipe may glow red. This is completely normal, as the chimney heats up, with segments reaching temperatures of 500°C or higher.
